Challenges

Temenos, a banking software company serving over 3,000 financial institutions across the globe, was on a transformation journey. It was shifting its business model towards SaaS and becoming the open platform for composable banking.

We created a new brand idea, “Everyone’s Banking Platform” and purpose, “to power a world of banking that creates opportunities for everyone.”

The brand and culture needed to change to support this ambition, evolving to authentically represent the company’s new mission, while leveraging the existing brand equities in a modern and genuine way.

Our new brand idea and purpose reinforced the company’s sector leadership and its commitment to a platform-based future. The new idea became the basis for crafting a new logo and a full brand visual identity system with multiple creative applications. We also developed new audience messaging and a tone of voice for communications.

Principle transformed the Temenos brand with a new tagline, identity and values

The transformed Temenos brand was launched at the Temenos Community Forum (TCF) in May 2022 via the new tagline, identity and values to a vast array of Temenos’s global clients, employees and partners. The Temenos website was simultaneously refreshed to incorporate the new brand.

This flashpoint moment was accompanied with a sustained programme of brand implementation across markets and with Temenos’s 8,000+ employees. To support this, we created a comprehensive set of high standard assets and tools to help guide brand usage as well as further development in the months and years to come.
