Purpose of the Role
To support the business by keeping track of our projects, build up a relationship with existing and new customers on the Chinese and international market. As the window to our client, you are responsible for clarifying requirements and communicating regularly with our customer. The successful candidate will communicates order requirements with our suppliers and follow-up timelines with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Keep regular contact and build up a relationship with existing and new clients
- Understand customer needs relating to quality, schedule, costs and coordinate products and services to ensure sourcing and procurement activities are completed timely for an excellent service to the customer
- Pro-actively anticipate and resolve potential risks and problems and manage all daily aspects of assigned projects in-office or remotely, dependent on travel requirements
- Provide financial management of the account such as, budgets, customer quotes and purchase orders
- Responsible for excellent project documentation following internal rules and regulations
- Identify future opportunities and help achieve additional sales volume with the account
- Provide support on other assignments and projects as required
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes - Essential:
- Bachelor Degree or higher in related industry and minimum 3 years working experience in the field of project management, customer relationship management or other process related tasks
- Knowledge of furniture, retail fit-out and/or signage industry is required
- Must be very effective in anticipating and resolving problems before they occur
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), particularly when interfacing with customers and must also have skills in coordinating with the many internal organisations that play a part in meeting the customer’s needs in English and Chinese
- Enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn new skills and work as part of an international team
- Must have personal computer skills (preferably Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook

- Must be flexible, able to work independently and open to regular travel
