DHL set out to elevate the quality, consistency, and performance of its office environments across multiple locations in Italy. The ambition was clear: create functional, modern workspaces that reflect DHL’s global brand while responding to the specific needs of local teams.

These environments needed to support productivity, collaboration, and employee wellbeing, without interrupting daily operations. The challenge wasn’t just design excellence, but delivering it seamlessly, at scale, across multiple live sites.

The Solution

Principle partnered with DHL as a single, end to end design and delivery partner, bringing strategy, design, production, and installation together under one integrated approach.

We began by understanding how each office was actually used: the workflows, team dynamics, and operational requirements that shape everyday performance. From there, we designed flexible, functional environments tailored to different teams, balancing efficiency with comfort and clarity. By managing the entire process (from concept through execution) we ensured consistency across locations while allowing each space to adapt to its local context. Every decision was grounded in usability, brand alignment, and operational practicality.

Our scope included:

• Workspace design and layout planning optimized for productivity and collaboration

• Custom furniture design and production aligned with functional needs and DHL brand standards

• Environmental graphics and visual communications that reinforce DHL’s global identity

• Logistics, delivery, and on site installation coordinated to minimize disruption The result was a cohesive, recognizable experience across all offices, delivered with speed, precision, and care.
