Rebrand of HSBC UK Branch Network
Principle appointed as sole signage contractor responsible for re- branding the entire HSBC UK network of over 700 branches.
Principle worked in partnership with HSBC's Global Standards team to develop the multinational bank's Retail, Business and Premier interior concepts.
The project involved designing a range of components that would work as modular elements to allow for quick re-fits to be carried out, with each branch closing for a maximum of six days for the transformation.
The interior components included task seating and full suites of furniture for reception, breakout and cafe areas. In addition to the design and specification of the workplace furniture, we compiled a fit-out guide for use by both regional contractors and Principle’s installation teams, to ensure the HSBC brand was implemented with total consistency worldwide.
We also utilised our project management expertise to build a local component supply network, which we now manage on behalf of the client. As a result, Principle supplies around 60% of branch components to the bank around the world, with the modular elements produced locally in each region.
