EA Indoor Championships, Paris
Planning for our project for the European Athletics Indoor Championships began in November with a site visit to the Bercy stadium in Paris. Since the visit we have worked with the European Athletics Association and the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme to maximize brand exposure for the EAA and their sponsors during the Championships which took place in March 2011.
We have produced:
- more than 2000 m2 of temporary signage and banners
- over 200m of trackside advertising
- a 13m x 3m branded crashmat cover
- an awards podium backdrop and press conference backdrop
- more than 3000 stickers for starting blocks, hurdles, athletes' bibs, VIP seating and other applications.
The entire consignment was loaded onto a 12m articulated carrier at our Silverstone facility on Friday 25th February for arrival in Paris on Monday 28th February. Fully equipped with tools and PPE, our five-strong team met the vehicle in Paris and worked like a well-oiled machine to install all the signage and advertising throughout the Paris Bercy stadium in good time for this major event.
Furthermore, our Principle 360 international partner network (and in particular our colleagues at Principle France) ensured that we could quickly and efficiently satisfy a last-minute requirement for additional materials.
