Staffordshire Leisure Centre required fire rated screens to suit local building control criteria for a marine and hazardous environment. Principle were able to help with load calculations through to full design drawings, supply and installation for both glazed steel curtain wall and fully welded screens finished in a marine spec Polyester Powder Coat finish.
Principle installed a steel curtain walling system, mechanically fixed with a powder coated finish to suit marine chlorine environment, with a single glaze fire rating allowing up to 30 minutes integrity, alongside an internal steel screen system, which was fully welded with a powder coat finish. This also had a fire rating allowing 30 minutes integrity and 30 minutes insulation.
