"CASINO, Saint Laurent des Arbes"
Principle Group were tasked with the design & manufacture of the external signs for the new image that Casino are looking to roll-out across their new build Supermarkets and Hypermarkets.

The initial stage was to establish conceptual designs into manufacturing drawings from a design brief given by the client.

The turn around time for this project was extremely short for it's type, but this was overcome by the expertise of the Principle Group.

The design concept of the signs was a challenge from a construction point of view, as the complete sign family has a tapered conical shape post with flag signage at the top. All this completed on a 5 degree lean from the vertical!

The largest of the signs, being a 10m high informative unit, was the most challenging from a point of view of design incorporating structural calculations and the manufacture of the rolled, tapered sections of the cladding. The construction also had to incorporate an 3.5m L.E.D message sign into the unit!

The signs once manufactured, were then transported to site on a 40' flatbed trailer from our works to the south of France, Saint Laurent des Arbes. The whole project was designed, manufactured, project managed & delivered on time in full to the client's satisfaction.
